La Foppa is a wonderful spot, easy to reach on a short path that starts in Casere. It’s the ideal destination for a quick trip with friends or for a picnic.
The itinerary is all on a dirt road in good conditions. You can go back to Casere along the same way. There are some alternative tracks for the more experienced:
- the first one leads to Monte Tabor, on a technical path in a beautiful beech tree forest, while the final part to Casere is on the road;
- the second track starts from La Foppa - Valle dei Grignoni and goes down until Piazzola (a part is on the uphill dirt road), where you take the technical path until Valle del Lupo; from here it is possible to return to Casere or to continue on the other MTB routes.
