Culmine di San Pietro - Bocchetta di Redondello - Bocchetta di Desio - Monte Due Mani

From Culmine di S. Pietro (1258 m), which connects Moggio in Valsassina with Avolasio di Vedeseta in Val Taleggio, it is possible to reach Mount Due Mani (1666 m), on an easy itinerary.

Follow the dirt road towards Forcella di Olino and Morterone, until a crossroads with directions for Monte Due Mani. Take the dirt road that leads to the huts of Cà Musciada, where the path on the right leads to Bocchetta di Redondello. Go past Bocchetta di Desio.
The path now becomes steep and challenging up to the top of Mount Due Mani (the difference in altitude is in this part), where there is the characteristic igloo-shaped Bivacco Locatelli from which there is a wonderful 360° view: the lakes, Monviso, Grigne and the Alps.
To go back follow the same itinerary or the other options suggested.
