The route aims to promote hiking in the mountains, favor a healthier lifestyle through movement and well-being in general. It allows a "slow tourism" approach to the mountain, suitable for everyone who wants to discover this beautiful area of Valsassina.
The track starts the center of Maggio to go to Tonalli di Sopra, one of the numerous farmhouses that were created in the past, thanks to the strong development of the agricultural activity. Once you pass that, in direction of Valle Dongoli you reach the Valley. Turn right on a dirt road and then continue straight along the side of the stream towards Casere. Once you reach the "Canale Guzzi”, which is completely flat, follow it until Tonalli di Sopra and go down to the source of San Lorenzo. Here the itinerary ends, take the road to Maggio to go back to the starting point.
This route can be followed in the opposite direction without difficulty, starting from the locality Casere or it can connect to other routes along the Valley.
